Riverbend Christian School is hiring for the 2024-2025 school year & summer camp!
RBCS is seeking nurturing staff to join our friendly team of professionals. We are committed to providing an exceptional early education in a loving, Christian environment. Riverbend Christian School follows a school year calendar with a 5-week summer camp, optional for staff to work.
The purpose of Riverbend Christian School is to provide a loving, Christian environment in which each child can develop fully in all domains of life: emotional, physical, social, cognitive and spiritual. We are licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and exceed all minimum standard requirements. Staff provide a warm, loving environment in which the child may play, explore and develop a good self-esteem. At RBCS we understand that young children learn best through play, and we are committed to meeting each child at their level to develop a love for school so that they have success in Kindergarten and beyond. We believe that each child is understood best in the context of the family, so we endeavor to provide support and encouragement for parents and the whole family.
Our curriculum goals and objectives are based on the Creative Curriculum’s domains of social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language development. We also follow the Texas Pre-K Guidelines outlined by the Texas Education Agency and endorse the Handwriting Without Tears handwriting curriculum. We are sensitive to the fact that not all children develop at the same rate in all domains.
